India’s Blackberry … RedChery
India’s based software firm AJ Square Consultancy is said to unleash its very own application
called Red Cherry that pretty much provides the same service as that of RIM’s BlackBerry. It’ll fetche corporate e-mails on your mobiles. Red Cherry aims to grow into the huge market that BlackBerry holds currently. The company seems to be targeting a 2 million user base by the end of this year. Aggressive pricing is going to be the key of its strategy inorder to acheive their target.
The service supports popular corporate accounts as well as the free services like Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail and Rediffmail and corporate e-mail accounts (MS exchange and IBM Lotus servers) on a mobile handset. The service is also readying its services for Singapore and the European markets.
