Happy New Year: Yahoo! & AOL’s AIM® now on Windows Mobile

Firstly I’d like to wish all you fringsters a Happy & Prosperous New Year 2008.

Earlier we added Yahoo!™ & AOL’s AIM® to fring’s ever growing network of supported IM services. This addition initially supported only Symbian & UIQ handsets. The fring development team didn’t quite feel right that only the Symbian and UIQ users get to enjoy the new Y! & AIM service. So in the true spirit of spreading freedom they worked through the holidays & added support for Windows Mobile handsets as well.

So wait no more, pick your Windows Mobile handset and download the latest version of fring. Login to fring, then click Options > Settings > Configure Services > Scroll down and select the service you would like to add and away you go.

More exciting features awaits you’ll fringsters this year so stay tuned.
