iPhone price shocker

Yesterday morning I wrote about the rumored $200 iPhone, I must say I really doubted the rumour was true, however after much anticipation Steve Jobs finally proved me wrong by confirmed this and quite a few other rumors in his keynote address at the WWDC yesterday evening.

According to Steve, the 8Gb iPhone will be on sale on July 11th in 22 Countries simultaneously. He then dropped an even bigger bomb by saying that “ in almost every one of these countries the price is a maximum of $199, all around the world” I sure hope our local iPhone 3G importers were listening very closely to that keynote address.
