Facebook, Yandex, Orkut, Gmail notifier and vTap on a fringing handset near you

Hey guys

fring has just launched 5 new and exciting add-ons, thanks to the recently released fring API.

The 5 new add-ons Facebook, Yandex mail notifier, Orkut, Gmail notifier and vTap are all available as opt in services.

The other good news is that all these great Add-ons are now available on Sony Ericsson - UIQ, Windows Mobile and Nokia Symbian 9 devices but remember you’ll need the latest version of fring, so get it here.

Once you’ve got the latest version, simply opt in to your Add-on of choice by clicking: Options > settings > manage add-ons > select the ones you want and thats it your favorite apps will now be always-on and always mobile via fring.

On another note: Word from fring’s development corner is that developers from around the world have already registered to use the API and are now creating all kinds of mobile games, tools, services and apps which will soon be available via the fring Add-on catalog.
