Hello everyone.
This is absolutely amazing. Since the release of our latest iPhone version yesterday we have seen a huge jump in fring video calling. So, to free up some room for more fring-to-fring video calling, we are temporarily reducing support to Skype. Be patient, we'll have some more updates soon. |

Calls are not necessary to me to video, I need to communicate simply on skype if video overloads a server, make simply the switching-off button. |

Want to just chat and talk. Use the Skype app. Works great. I understand why Skype was disable on fring. Keep up the great work guys!!!

Is there a timeframe in which we might see skype support included again?

This makes fring pretty much useless to me. I wanted to Skype my parents on my birthday today while I am out of town, and now nothing ...

I have spent whole day for trying skype serivice, and also found the skype service is gone from this afternoon. ARE YOU KIDDING ME THAT YOU TURN OFF THE SKYPE SERVICE WITHOUT ANY NOTICE JUST BECAUSE YOU GUYS DIDN'T ESTIMATE THE HUGE NETWORK FLOW JUMP? If there is no skype service, I don't think there is any reason to leave fring in my phone. |

HORRIBLE IDEA. Especially for those of us who don't use iAnything...
"fring sits at the heart of the fringsters™ online communication world allowing the freedom to communicate with all popular communities’ members (Skype®, MSN® Messenger, Google Talk™, ICQ, SIP, Twitter, Yahoo!™, AIM®) without boundaries, and regardless of device, network operator, platform or the community(ies) to which they belong." And now you've yanked support for one of the most popular online communications communities? Let Apple release their own, native video chat app when Steve gets around to it. |
