So there I was playing with fring on my Nokia N73.
I clicked Options > Settings > Configure services.
The following list popped up

Having never heard of twitter, I decided to do a quick Google search and what would you know, there it was on the top of the list twitter.com

Twitter “A global community of friends and strangers answering one simple question: What are you doing?”

My first look at the site was one of confusion. People putting random comments about themselves on the net for everyone to read. After registering I found that you can also set up a private account so only your friends can see when you add an update.

Looks like quite an interesting idea and as with most Internet programs there are positive and negative aspects.
