Hi,

I have the same bug, the sound mutes at the very beginning of the call. The volume button changes the in-call volume (at the maximum), but the volume icon is at "muted".

I have a HTC magic with android 1.6 Kernel 2.6.29-00479
Build number DRC92

I want to use this sooooooft, please do something!!!

This is still a problem, any chance of advice on when it will be fixed, it makes Fring totally useless on my HTC Hero.

I'm having the same problem on my HTC Tattoo. Android 1.6. Not rooted. The other party on Euteliavoip via Fring (voip to fring) hears me fine but I cannot hear them. "No-voip to fring" it works, and also when I call "fring test" it works.
Please do something!!

This is quite a serious problem. Any solutions to this yet? I have been trying hard to make skype calls but I just couldn't hear anything from the other party at all!

Have you set "Automatic Task Killer" to turn fring off when you install it ?
Can you remove fring from it and try again ?

I have a new Sprint Samsung Droid and fring always mutes. What can be done?
