CBSE Bans use of Mobile Phones on Campus

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has imposed that use of mobile phone be banned in schools. The ban implies that mobile phones should not be used when in the school campus. The rule extends to students as well as teachers and other working staff. The board says that cell phones are a serious cause of distraction. The ban will help students concentrate better on their curriculum. The CBSE board is trying to recreate a cellular phone-free study environment. It is noticed that students use SMS service even during lectures and cameras phones being misused. Along with this rule the board has made clear that land line telephones will be provided for emergency calls.

My view, all boards or simply put the Education Minister should impose the rule country wide; makes complete sense.
