BSNL to offer TV on GSM handsets

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has already begun its new service “TV on mobile handset”. The service so far is available in just few network circles in the country. BSNL is offering 12 channels for now, namely: NDTV, Aaj Tak, Times Now, CNBC, ETV, TV9, Zoom, and Bindaas. The network giant plans to add many more channels and take the total number of channels to 32. In-order to watch TV BSNL customers will have to visit mimobi.tv via their handsets. The service for now is compatible only with Nokia handsets and is soon expected to cover Sony Ericsson and Motorola handsets as well. As a promotion of the service BSNL will be offering the service for FREE for the next 30 days in Eastern & North Eastern Regions of the country.

The download doesnt seem to work. I am a postpaid bsnl customer using NOKIA Handset compatible as mentioned by BSNL. BSNL has published the link in the newpaper too, but it simply doesnt work at all.

Just make sure that the service is provided where you are located … or else I think the best option would be to speak to the BSNL customer care.

The link that bsnl send to download doesnt work at all . there is no response when connected to the net.my nokia is compatible as shown in news papers.

when i’m retrieved the service msg through my nokia 6131 the msg display on the screen that the device not supported kindly check later

Hey Amit you’ll have to wait till your handset is supported or if your are about to buy a new handset just make sure to check which Symbian S60 handsets are supported and pick one of those :)
