Iphone 3GS Firmeware 3.0 : Trying to have a call on a GSM buddy with SIP account, no succes. In fact the keyboard’s window comes up & cover the validate’s window; so you can not make “OK” for calling
Any idea !???

Seriously, push notification for iPhone HAS to be implemented! I like Fring but I guess I have to download some other IM software and use it now

What the hell is wrong with Fring on N97. I have used this app on Nokia N95, E71 and iPhone. No problems, but on N97 - come on guys give us a break. I am an existing user, why the hard time with N97? Why will it not allow me to add as an existing user? Does Fring now need to be built in China so we get consistency?

Hi, I have installed Fring on iPhone 3GS but any time I am trying to place a call using fring, skype or sip, I am getting message: voice calling fring calls only on WiFi. By using Fring application on Nokia E90 I did not have such problems. Please help.

On the iPhone voice calls are only allowed over WiFi due to Apple’s restrictions.

Hi The Fring Team,
Me too I have the same problem, I use Fring for more than 4years with my Sony-Ericson and I don’t have any problem to call with my SIP account using EDGE, 3G or WiFi but I just bought new iPhone 3Gs and install Fring 2 days ago and impossible to call with my SIP account even when I’m connected to my WiFi access point of my internet provider that also provide SIP account…

As I said before… Apple does not allow developers to release apps that allow voice calls over 3G/GPRS.
That’s the reason it is blocked.

Dear Fring team,
I have installed Fring on my N97 and I used direct download, not choosing the phone brand first, and N97 software god crazy after few days. Touch commands went mad. I guessed it could be problems with Fring and I took it off. Since then phone is working normally again. I was guessing it is Fring that couse the problems because I had it on SE P1i before and it freezes the phone from time to time.
I really enjoy Fring features and would like to have it again.
Do you think I can get over this problem if I install it on my N97 through PC and choosing the phone brand?? Actually, does your site software recognize phone model automatically when I choose direct Fring download using phone browser from your home page??

Hello .. I have some problems with the Fring application on an N97.I installed, it connects to the internet from Vodafone sim cards but when I give to make videocall test, lose network ,then connects again.
other Internet applications are working normally only whit fring I have this problem.For text Fring works perfectly fine receiving and sending.please helppppppp

hi there im having problems using fring with my n97
1st of all the charger indicator and notification lights are on whenever fring is running even in background
2nd of all i cnt seem 2have video calls 2msn contacts only voice.. It says msn live dznt support video call??? O.o
and 1more thing whenever i try 2send a file like a foto to any other contact its canceled straight away without any progress!
thats all i guess.. awaiting a reply plz help!

Even we are using new version 4.40 so please help how to use video calls. I am connecting through my wifi. even one of my friend is using video call on his nokia e52
