Presenting fring API @ the GarageGeeks
Last week, on January 15th Avi Shechter, CEO of fring, presented the fring API to 400 developers at the GarageGeeks. The focus of the event was Mobile Development Platforms. Among presenters in past events were Sergey Brin co-founder of Google, Steve Glagow, Vice President of Orange Partner and others.
The evening started with a presentation by Avner Mor, GM, Telecom and Mobile Services, Microsoft R&D exposing Windows Mobile development environment. Then, Nir Brar-Lev ,Head of EMEA analysis products from Google showed how to develop for Android and other platforms like iPhone were discussed as well.
Itamar Kunik, fring API Team Leader demonstrated how with a few lines of code, any community website can go mobile, while providing its members additional communication possibilities like chat and Voip calls.
