It’s nice to hear a great news of calling 40 countries at dead cheap rate of 7$ per month. Do you have other plans for India mobile and landline calling?

But “unlimited” they mean “limited”.
Their “fair use” policy says you can only use it 3 hours a day.

Everyone has a fair use policy. I honestly think fring’s is very good.

Agreed, but then it truly isn’t “unlimited” though. The guy makes a point.
It definitely is a great deal though.

Humm, Skype’s Unlimited Worldwide costs €11.49 a Month (don’t forget VAT). That’s not 46$/year…
Even if you get the 15% off it’s still more than €110 a year.

I believe that $7 a month for world wide calling is great but fring should really remove the unlimited tag because is not unlimited
Unlimited
1.not limited; unrestricted; unconfined: unlimited trade.
2.boundless; infinite; vast: the unlimited skies.

Fring, you should do a deal either for Nigeria (Mobiles), or African countries.
Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa, and Africa is the 2nd most populous continent in the world - which means there are a helluva lot of people in the rest of the world that have relatives/friends who reside in Africa that they need to call on a regular basis - And the people there also need to call their relatives /friends abroad too!
Right now, international calling to Africa is via a mish mash of calling cards and voip options.
If Fring could come out with a very affordable plan, with good call/connection quality, they would be on to a massive winner, generating the vast majority of their call revenues in these locations.
NB: If doing this, especially for Nigeria, please make sure that the costs are unified for all mobile phone operators, rather than charging different prices for different operator, as some voip providers do. It is almost impossible for the customer to know which numbers range/prefix belongs to which provider.
And don’t bother including landlines in the deal. Almost nobody has a land line in Nigeria (No reliable infrastructure), and the so called “landlines” that exist now are actually CDMA phones!
So, c’mon, get your thinking caps on and lets see what you can come up with!
