Early Access: New, 1st, Exclusive, Only - fring on Nokia’s N8
We couldn’t wait. You couldn’t wait… we had to show you this….
As you can see, fring is 1st to bring our wicked-awesome-cool video calling to Nokia’s latest Smartphone – the N8!
But if you are one of the lucky ones to already have an N8, you can experience fring on the N8 yourself.
Just fill out this early access form to put fring’s N8’s video calling to work for you.
fring your friends on the mountain tops, fring your friends in the valley, on the beaches and in the air.
Important note: the N8 does not yet have the final Nokia firmware so there are still a few kinks to be worked out.

this is some bullshit right here. how they put fring on a phone that aint even out yet? the e73 users been patiently waiting for an update and our phones have been out for months. i do understand its more iphone, evo, galaxy, and n8 users but we need an update. i wouldnt mind paying for the app if it worked right. dont mean to b rude but our update is long overdue.

Hi,
This is sree.
I bought an N8 2 months back and i have installed fring from OVI store. After the registration form is completed it shows me “Login, Please Wait” but nothing happens. I did exit and log in again numerous times but nothings worked yet. Please help!!!!!!!!! Is it that fring is out of service and will be fixed shortly?

Why does fring screw up the web feeds on the N8? I followed the instructions here and sure enough, fring was the culprit!

I just try to make a video call from Fring, using MSN, to other devices as well as my nokia 8, and simply, I received the message that fring does not support video calls to msn. Unfortunately, I realize that NOKIA N8 is not as good as expected. I bought the device to have this feature, but I can not use video calls to both MSN and SKYPE. If anyone knows how to do so appreciate the info.

va haber mas aztualizaciones para el nokia n8, levo tiempo viendo solo mejoras para android y iphone pero no para symbian y al hacer una videollamada con un movil adroid, me dice que symbian no tiene la ultima version instalada y por eso se ve mal el video.

I can’t able to login fring from my nokia N8. Showing “login please wait”, for long time.
While I tried from another mobiles Nokia E66, E72 and C5, login success. There is no any problem for login from above models.

Hello,
Just yday i have been to Nokia care as my N8 was hanging while using Fring.. Nokia care guy upload a new software for my N8. after that i downloaded the Fring from Nokia Store and after i down the Fring the Fring application is not opening.
Please advice

We don’t yet support Nokia N8 with Symbian Belle. We’re working on supporting it in the near future.

If you have the Belle OS installed on your Nokia N8, we suggest waiting until we release a fring version compatible with the Belle OS.
