A very popular football event is currently taking place in South Africa. In a few days the quarter finals starts, the whole world is in a buzz and we want you to capture that spirit in the fring football contest.

This is the idea:

1. Snap pictures of yourself, your friends or anything football related.
2. fring-a-fy the pics using some of the images linked below or from the fring facebook group.
3. Upload the pics to our wall.
4. Share the love by getting your friends to do the same and then
5. Beg your friends to “Like” your pics.

The person with the most “likes” wins.

Note: We are not asking for pictures taken at the events, although this would also be cool. Rather look for interesting football related pics showing how your family and friends are enjoying the football in your country. You can be at the local restaurant watching the game on a bigscreen or you could be at a school football match, you could be dressed like a viking with Vuvuzela or Kuduzela in hand or wearing a Makarapa, whatever makes you happy.

So whether you are watching the games in person in South Africa or watching via fring’s video calling at the local bar in your home country, document and share your excitement of the game we love and you could win.

All we want to see is how you are supporting your teams. Oh and we want to see your cellphone on screen. We don’t care if it comes out of Noah’s ark or if it’s the latest high tech handset, all we wanna see is your handset and fring running on the handset. If you don’t have fring get creative, cut and paste images. Do whatever you can to fring-a-fy your pics. Remember the best most “liked” pic will win, so get cracking.
